Abstract Digital app for iPhone and iPad

This digital art project came out of an art/science collaboration between Jessica Herrington and Prof Ted Maddess at the Australian National University. It was inspired by the visual system and the way the human brain constructs reality from filtered information.

The digital sculptures within this augmented reality app are made of filtered elements from the everyday environment. These elements are collaged together to create unusual objects that refer back to their original source.

The inital research for this project was made possible via funding from the Australian Network for Art & Technology (ANAT). This funding was awarded via a Synapse Grant in 2016.
